B. CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION:
These activities are through :
- Projects.
- Preventing trade /selling of protected animals and animal products.
- Prevention of the activities of snake charmers, use of animals in circus etc.
- Formation of protection groups.
- Drawing attention of conservation world on various issues.
- Inviting and seeking help and advice from the conservation experts of
- national and international repute.
C. SURVEY, GENERATION OF SCIENTIFIC DATA AND SCIENTIFIC STUDIES.
The activities in this field are :
- Monitoring the woodlands and wetlands to generate data on wildlife.
- Regular census of birds under the IWRB-UK and Asian Wetland Bureau, Malayasia.
- Updating the checklists of the Birds and animals of Bongaigaon district.
